At
Performance Associates, we view seminars as a logical extension
of our continuing research work on I/O subsystems. Our seminars
are intended to provide the most current and authoritative information
available on the complex storage subsystem management issues that
Information Technology organizations face today.
Detailed
descriptions and scheduling information for our seminars may be
found by clicking on the seminar names shown in the left hand column
of this page.
Seminar Materials
Technical currency of the seminar materials
is one of our highest priorities at Performance Associates. Rather
than updating the materials on a time available basis, we use the
seminar materials as the repository of our ongoing research related
to OS/390, UNIX, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. Hence our seminar
notes are updated as a result of every new article we read, session
we attend, or technology we evaluate, as well as comments and questions
that arise each time a seminar is presented.
The materials for each seminar are printed just prior to each presentation
since we want our students to have the most current information
available. Like you, we have been to seminars where a few hundred
sets of the notes were printed last year and the student is expected
to update their materials during the presentation. If it was announced
last week, expect it to be in our seminar!
Public Seminar Venue
All of Performance Associates public
seminars are conducted at the Days Hotel in Herndon, VA. The hotel
is adjacent to the Washington Dulles Airport. Group rates have been
negotiated at the Days Hotel property.
In-House Seminars
Performance Associates is pleased to respond
to requests for in-house training from our clients. We can tailor
seminars to meet the specific needs of clients and can integrate
consulting with the educational process to assist the students in
solidifying the seminar concepts while they are addressing real
problems in their environment.
Why Performance Associates?
There is a fundamental difference between
a seminar presented by a recognized and published authority in their
field compared to one just presented by a seminar instructor! Performance
Associates has trained more than two thousand students on six continents
in the past decade. Who trains Systems Engineers for CNT, Comparex,
EMC, HDS, IBM, and STK? The answer is Performance Associates!
